My diversity networks

Profile:

In September 2018, after graduating from Columbia Law School, I began working in Skadden’s New York office as an associate in the Government Enforcement & White Collar Crime practice group.  In 2020, I joined the London team.

Alongside the challenging and exciting work that I do with the Government Enforcement & White Collar Crime group, I have worked on pro bono matters dealing with issues around parole and policing—issues of particular concern to me given the racial inequity of the criminal justice system.  I believe there is a direct relationship between diversity of the legal profession and the quality of legal services.

As I prepared for law school and, later, while I explored post-grad employment options, I relied heavily on the advice of legal professionals who helped me chart my path in an industry with which I had little familiarity.  Over the course of my career, I have been the fortunate recipient of the generous support of black lawyers, female lawyers, and diversity and inclusion allies.  I am grateful to Aspiring Solicitors for providing this platform through which I can begin to pay it forward.  I hope to speak to you soon.
